Inappropriate?Renee,
Carousel, with it's web-centric interface and built in template system is a great choice for an easy to use system without the need for specific software being installed on the computer of each user in charge up updating it.
That being said, it can play back PowerPoint in certain situations and with limitations. Please see our FAQ thread at http://gsfn.us/t/1oiy for more information.
Thanks!

I’m sure you'll love Carousel

Inappropriate?Chad,
I was not questioning Power Point, unless Power Point can handle facility scheduling. Most important to us as end users is a program that will allow scheduling to be added to the Carousel screen. This needs to be a single imput program that uploads or loads to the monitor without additional feedback from the user, allows changes to be shown immediately, with easy updates. We were only suggesting Microsoft Office as they have a calendar that integrates with the rest of the office.
I am looking forward to your suggestions.
I’m still frustrated

Inappropriate?Renee,
Dynamic bulletins can be auto-updated from a remote source in a couple different ways, depending on what your end-goals are. Using the Event Display Schedule (http://www.trms.com.s3.amazonaws.com/...) we can integrate with some scheduling programs to automatically display events around a capmus. With RSS (http://www.trms.com.s3.amazonaws.com/...) you can have a custom feed that can display almost whatever you want from a remote data source. We can also integrate with Microsoft's Remote Data Services protocol which has similar capabilities.
If you were to send an e-mail to our sales department they could provide a bit more help with the specifics of what you're looking to do with your system and if Carousel would be a good fit for that role. Thanks for inquiring!
