wrong server on air
My system seems to be putting server #1 on air, but playing back from other servers. This is a problem as the channel goes black.

Inappropriate? The Most likely cause is that you don't have the correct router address in your device setting.
Under Location Settings -> I/O -> Devices Choose the video server that is playing the file, but not getting switched to correctly.
Make sure that the router address is the same as what the video server is actually plugged into, if its not change it and resend autopilot. You should be good to go.

Inappropriate? The server info looks the same as your graphic info. Server 4 is on router 4 with device address 3. Each address is 1 lower than the server/router # Is this correct, or should server 1 on router 1 also be device 1?

Inappropriate?Bruce...
It depends on your device and you setup. I might be getting this wrong, its been a while since I set my server up.
I'm using a VS4 and the Device Address are one lower than the actual server number. So Servers 1-4 actually have Device Addresses of 0-3
The Router address is completely dependent on your setup however. For instance you could plug video server 1 into the third input on your video router/switcher. This would work fine as long as your Router Address corresponds with the actual physical connection.
If I were you I would follow the wires coming out of the server and see what input they are connected to on the video router/switcher. Write down what's connected to where and then enter the appropriate values in your device settings.

Inappropriate?I have the same server and the same addressing scheme. It worked fine until today, so there must be some other issue.

Inappropriate?Oh Sorry, I assumed this was a new install.

Inappropriate?Thanks for trying.

Inappropriate?Hi Bruce,
Did anyone from TRMS get in touch with you on this? I don't want to leave you hanging.
-John
I’m concerned

Inappropriate?Yes, I finally got a call on Friday.
I think making a small change and resending the schedule cleared things up. Server 1 was being put on-air, while server 3 was playing back, but refreshing the schedule seemed to take care of the problem.

Inappropriate?Sounds good, Bruce. I'm sorry it took a while for us to get back to you, but I'm glad it's been solved.
