Maximum shrinkage
Ok, what we're looking for here is the single word or phrase that allows maximum shrinkage. Please feel free to make suggestions, and we can all vote on which ones we really like! Remember, we're not trying to achieve "leet speak" or "text message lingo" (even though sometimes it seems like it), just clear, short tweets. Here are a couple examples:
pay-per-view => ppv (9 letters)
Christmas => Xmas (5 letters)

Beat that.

Inappropriate?haha, thanks for that. but to be a little serious, we don't think that's anything anyone would type out, and then realize later that they need it shrunk. we won't be adding that one.
I’m amused

Inappropriate?ok, i found a couple:
seriously => srsly (4 letters shaved)
especially = > esp (7 letters shaved)
I’m w00ting

Inappropriate?I got three:
1. Morning (7 Chars) -> AM (2Chars)
2. (of course) Night -> PM
3. Ok see you later (13 Chars not including the spaces) -> kcul8r(6 Chars )
I’m Happy

Inappropriate?I really like 1 and 2 above. We will discuss internally to make sure that they don't lose meaning. since they are all caps, it shouldn't get confused with anyone "shouting" the word "am". i.e.:
I am going to skip church in the AM.
works for me. :)
does night work for PM? what about afternoon/evening? those are PM as well, right? might be too ambiguous.
also, i don't like #3. without the context i wouldn't read it the same way as you said it. plus, i'm just not sure that enough people would type that in to make it worth all the comparisons we would have to do on a daily basis.
I’m likin' the way you're thinkin'

Inappropriate?I think afternoon and evening could translate to PM. but PM may could be misconstrued as private message.
I’m Amused

Inappropriate?or Prime Minister. :P
my suggestion is to try to find a sentence where it doesn't work as the barometer. if they are negligible, then we will probably add it:
"I'm going for a swim this PM, anyone wanna go?"
ambiguous, i think. are you skipping work for this? or are you going after work?i think night and PM will work though. any other Tweetshrink guys wanna weigh in on this "important" decision?
