I can't load tumblr domain. Even the homepage & blogs of tumblr domain can't even load ? What is happening ??? All the domains just show "loading" and it went into the page load error page.
Hi, I've set-up a custom domain and got my A-Records changed over correctly. I've tested the domain and all is working however I can't access my image files that I've uploaded to my ftp. I can still access ftp but when I try to access the files in an image folder within my public_html I get the "We couldn't find the page you were looking for" page. I tried to point the tumblr to a subdomain but still no success. Any ideas? Surely I can still upload and access files on my domain?

I joined earlier in the week, and i can't seem to log in, and i've tried all my emails which really is only 3, and none work. Of course I emailed support, I hope it gets resolved its really annoying me :(
hey guys, i was trying to add this comment system to this tumblr theme that originally didnt have one...everything was showing up fine and it seemed to be working...but the design looks REALLLLLLY GROSS.
I haven't had any problems with customizing my tumblr until I got my firefox browser updated to 3.5. The tabs won't seem to open no matter how many times I tried clicking. Should I make any changes to the browser? I tried it using IE and it's the same, except I haven't used IE before to customize anything on my tumblr.
I created a post with a lot of pictures, so it was really long and took up a lot of space. I tried to put a scroll box in using a code that i would normally use for myspace, but it didn't work. Is there anyway that i can make my post scroll?
I created a tumblr account about one week ago and logged in recently to try and add my first post. I entered my login information and a 'Logging in' page displayed. However, after 10 seconds or so I was shown this:
The address is simply http://www.tumblr.com/suspended when this page is displayed.
I've accepted the cookies and have done just about everything else I can think of that may solve it but I'm still being shown this message. I'm currently using Firefox 3.0.8, should I update it possibly? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Currently, the title of all posts (except text and chat) is automatically set to the first
few characters of the caption, quote or description. This results in duplicate content when viewing the RSS feed. The problem is exacerbated on Twitter. If you use twitterfeed to automatically have it tweet your latest entries, your tweet becomes annoying to your readers because it displays both the title and the beginning of the content, which are the same. I'm quite surprised this hasn't been implemented yet, given that the option already exists for text and chat posts. How hard can it be to add it to the other post types?
Update: Twitterfeed provides an option to only display the description, so that provides a temporary solution for Twitter. However, the ability to customize the titles for all posts still remains an essential feature for SEO purposes. The <title> tag of a page is one of the single most important factors that determine a page's ranking.</title>
For example I have tags: "Apples", "oranges". I'd like to change "oranges" to "Oranges". When I type "Oranges" in new posts I get "oranges" instead. :( Please help to rename tags.
I am deciding that I want to start a website business and want to add a blog for a certain reason and would like to remove the default Tumblr buttons in the right-hand corner such as Customize, Dashboard, and follow. How do we remove it???
I have problems with the iphone app of tumblr since I have updated to OS 3.0. The dashboard is displayed normally but I cant load more posts via the "load more post" button at the bottom. The load wheel just keeps turning. This only happens when I'm on mobile internet connection (3G), on Wifi connections everything works fine and the posts load.
I want to use the post to Twitter function, but i don't want the prefixes to my post that Tumblr is adding in! Please let use choose if we want to use them!
I've just started using Firefox about a month and a half ago. I like it, except, ever since my change from Internet Explorer, I cannot log into my Tumblr account. I use the correct email and password, but it continually redirects me to the same log-in page.
I know this is not due to user error, because it works just fine when I try logging in via IE. Unfortunately, I don't want to have to use IE just to visit Tumblr.
As stated many times in the review of Tumblr, this great service is missing the ability to import and export post data. This would be helpful in keeping a backup or your data as well as being able to restore data as needed.
In addition, the ability to import different formats would also allow for my adoption from users moving from other blogging solutions (wordpress, blogger, etc.).
Is it possible to use Tumblr to create an iTunes compatible Podcast feed? Or, is the RSS (XML) feed that Tumblr outputs able to be submitted to iTunes as a Podcast?
