Can I add an "about me" or "faq" page?
I have a basic Tumblr theme, and I wanted to add another page to it, ie, an "about me" or "faq" page. Can I tweak the basic theme, or do I have to find free theme with one already in it? (I like the simplicity of the basic theme I choose, I just want to add another page.)
Please tell me this can be done!

Inappropriate? At this time, Tumblr does not offer an About or FAQ page for tumblelogs. However, you can use HTML in your tumblelog's Description to include text, photos, and links about you and your life. You can even create a link that takes people to an About or FAQ page you make, be that page a Tumblr post or a page that you maintain on another web site.
You can edit your Description by clicking the Customize link on the Dashboard.
If you would like to learn more about HTML so you can customize your Description, visit http://www.w3schools.com/html.

Inappropriate?Thank you!
Just so I am clear, I should make my 1st post an "About Me" post, then add that post as a link in under my Description area?
That is a brilliant back door way of adding a page!
I’m excited

Inappropriate? It doesn't matter whether it's your first post, your last, or anything in between. Just link to it from your Description and you'll be all set.

Is there a way to hide the post so that it doesn't show up in your Tumblr feed, but you can still use it as an about me or FAQ? -
Inappropriate?Hi, Hannah. Yes, you can create a private post using the Advanced Options on a posting page and then use the Share link for the private post as a link in your Description.

Inappropriate?A good way to do this is if you have your own domain under www.godaddy.com, than you can add a subdomain, http://about.MYURL.com, and use total DNS controls to forward that to another website, and have that website have your tumblr themes in it, just with the about not a real post. Just a way around it.
I’m excited
