Consider adding bit.ly integration as tumblr short url is too long.
It would be nice to be able to use bit.ly as a shorturl service instead. Leaves more room for text when posting to Twitter.

Inappropriate?yea we need shorter URLs plus i NEED the tracking of my click thoughs that bit.ly currently gives me. please consider adding Bit.ly or offering better service.

Inappropriate?I don't know if I be too happy about a third party supplying the links. Does anyone remember the day that tinyurl went down which made any tweeted links useless? However I would be in favour of shorter urls and tracking.

I think that considering a tumblr subdomain/custom domain, the shortened URL could even be shorter eg. http://custom.tumblr.com/u45Xs <->http://rad.st for example ;))

Inappropriate?Does anybody know how to figure out the native Tumblr short URL (i.e., http://tumblr.com/xrp2a2p5h) for a Tumblr post? the only way I've ever seen them show up are when I automatically post my Tumblr posts to Twitter. Can't find them anywhere by looking back at my old posts or dashboard.
