Flash 9 required for listening to audio

A few weeks ago, Tumblr started telling me that Flash 9 was required to listen to audio posts. I used to be able to listen to them fine. What's happened here? As far as I know, I have Flash 9 installed (Firefox, OSX -- works fine in Safari)
