How can you combine or merge existing Tumblr accounts into one account?
Whilst thrilled that you can now have multiple tumblelogs under one account, I had several different tumblelogs before this became a feature. So my question is: How can you combine existing Tumblr accounts into one account?

Inappropriate?We can convert one tumblelog into another account. The process can take up to a month, but you can still post during that time.
Please email support@tumblr.com with:
* The web address of the tumblelog you want converted to another account. (i.e. http://xxxxxx.tumblr.com).
* For verification of the transaction, please log in to the user account for the tumblelog, click Goodies, copy the secret Mobile Posting address (i.e. xxxxx@tumblr.com), and include it in your response to this email.
* The email address of the other Tumblr account that you wan to be made an Admin for the tumblelog.

Inappropriate?Ok, What else can I do? Can I delete the odd tumblr account and then just add the url of the deleted account as an extra tumblelog into my new account? when is a subdomain free after deletion?2 Comments Add a comment

Yes, that would work. URLs are free immediately after deletion.

that's ok. luckily enough that one tumblr-url wasn't in use yet. so deleting and re-registering on my main account is ok. but maybe you want to think about a "migration" tool or sth.
