How do I add Google Friend Connect to my Tumblelog?
I'd like to add Google Friend Connect to my Tumblelog. So far I've been able to add Blog Catalog, MyBlogLog, FuelMyBlog, and Technorati widgets to my Tumblelog. Adding Facebook Connect was so easy since it was included in Disqus commenting system. Now, I've tried different times to add GFC but failed miserably. Could you help me please?

Inappropriate?It is my understanding that Google Connect requires that you upload one or more files to a web server. Tumblr doesn't allow you to upload a specific file to a specific directory. So, I doubt you can use Google Connect with Tumblr at this time. My apologies.

Inappropriate?I personally knew about Tumblr's limitation of disallowing custom file upload.
If you're not allowing any files to be uploaded, do you at least see a possibility of supporting Google Friend Connect and hosting those extra two files?

Inappropriate?I do agree with Nenad, although I do understand your problem. I'm working on a concept for an international Elearning Environment using all existing tools available so that you can work around closed and inefficient systems like Blackboard/Moodle etc. On top of this 'share this/presence/connectivity/ concept using Tumblr/Flickr/Xmarks/Dipity etc I need a simple website and Google Connect to be able to streamline and connect Friends and posted/shared content.1 Comment

Inappropriate?iTheater, I'm not sure if you're referring to "my problem" or not... if you are, the problem is that Tumblr prevents you from uploading any files to your Tumblr account. Adding Google Friend Connect support requires you to upload two files in the root folder of the server which I'm not able to do for my http://shonzilla.tumblr.com
