is tumblr still active?
I'm wondering if tumblr is still an active platform? For a couple of weeks now i've not been able to get to tumbr by using http://tumblr.com/. i get the redirect error when i use either Firefox or Safari. I've tried clearing cookies and the cache like some posts suggested and it still doesn't work.
Then i start reading all the posts here and there seems to be a wave of logon and update issues facing a good number of customers trying to use tumblr.
Given the fact that a large number of social networks are coming and going, i was just wondering if Tumblr is on the way out and I should stop wasting time here and move on.
Any thoughts?

Inappropriate?Hi, Matt. We are very much alive. Make sure you are clearing ALL cookies for Tumblr.com. Make sure you are clearing cookies not clearing bookmarks/favorites or histories. Try disabling any browser add-ons you are running. And, make sure you aren't running security or firewall software that is affecting your connection to Tumblr.

Thanks Marc for the quick reply. I already tried this but i did so again as you suggested. i was able to get to the login page, but when i entered my credentials and hit send, i get the suspended the same redirect loop error as before and that's the same problem that i saw other users getting.
