Using Tumblr to Capture Comments Made on Other Blogs
Here's the idea. For ages, I've been using coComment even though I'm not happy with the service, to repost the comments I make on other blogs to Tumblr.
This might sound a little ad hoc, but how about a bookmarklet which would capture the comment I'm writing and publish it to my Tumblr (complete with link to source) when I submit the comment?
Maybe this shouldn't exactly be a Tumblr feature because it's a somewhat particular use, but could this kind of bookmarklet be put together? A kind of hack, add-on, goodie?

Inappropriate? This is a great idea, I will spread it around!

Inappropriate? And also to capture other related comments in the same stream - not just your own ... coComment is the model to match and surpass

Inappropriate?I'm not really interested in the tracking of other comments. There are services like co.mments which do that reasonably well, and I don't usually want to track ALL the conversations I take part in.
What I'm interested in is the CAPTURE job that coComment does.
I’m worried I might be misunderstood

Inappropriate?Wouldn't this duplicate a lot of info on the web ? Isn't the sensible alternative just to trackback ? Which reminds me that Tumblr should at least automatically trackback to the original article.
I’m unsure
