Why doesn't my images in text posts show up when looking from the dashboard?

If I have made a text post which includes an image (made with the Insert/Edit Image tool), the image shows up as it should when looking at my own tumblelog, but when I go to my dashboard, the text is there but the image is replaced with a small thumbnail image of a square which is a link to my tumblelog. I want that my original image in my text post is also displayed in the dashboard. Is this not possible?
