I can help...This is working perfectly for me...because I already was in a program that follows people as they follow me...I started twitter, following about 200 people for the week with only 0-40 followers, using an free program called Mr. Tweet that gives you 200 people a week that you manually have to go down the list and hit follow ( however, it put them on one page).

When you get into programs like these. You have to monitor them them a little. I see the program (Tweepme) follows me by 30 per hour at first it was 50 and tweepme adjusted it to 30, I later adjusted it to 5 per hour. I am going to tell you why.

You have to understand what they (tweepme or any program) do. This program gets you followed. But they do not have you to follow...you are only paying for followers, not for them to even you out or have you follow other back. You are responsible for following people back. I joined a free program that stores tweets and post and also allows you to set up an automatic follow back. Got to http://www.tweetlater.com
now you have to set it up automation and tweets. It has other things, but you have to read the site. I only use 2 the automated follow back and auto tweets. They also have vetting...in tweetlater.com that allows you to pick who you want to follow and reject based on certain criteria like, people with picks, people that have not tweeted in and optional amount of time etc. etc. So. You need to take the time to go there (tweetlater.com) and automate and then those percentages will go down. As far as the 300 follow difference.

In addition, I decided to get the info so you won't be frustrate when you get there. After you are signed up an logged in to tweetlater.com, on your right you will see in blue "my accounts" and then you will see accounts click on that your twitter account or accounts will be there. Click on "edit" on the right of your account in the same section as your twitter name. Read that page and check all that you want. I recommend you check vetting as well. You can even check auto unfollow. I don't do that one because I don't care if someone unfollows me, If they have the same criteria I described in my vetting then I am good. I also recommend vetting on tweetlater.com It helps you get rid of bogus accounts and inactive people. Tweetlater automates the friend process keeps you uptodate and active enough to break as lon as you need to, because you can spend time automating your tweeps for as long as you can sit there. But it only automates for the times you manually put in. Its just that you can pre do it...but you have to manually type a message and chose a time so you still have to be active it just makes your activity easier.

After you do sign up for http://www.tweetlater.com/ and TWEEPME will be something you are glad you did. You will actually be able to keep up with people who direct message you and really build relationship. Again I am Jayemerican on twitter.

Ps. Reduce you number for a while with Tweepme down to 5 per hour or 2 or 1. Until you see you are following more than following you.
