trouble signing in/registering
I'm having trouble signing in/registering. It says I have an invalid user/pass. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

definitely not fixed. I even changed my twitter password and tried to log back into tweepme to see of their was a password syning issue. Nope. No dice. Do not pass go and don't even think about collecting 200 dollars.

Inappropriate?I would love to try the service out. But I still cannot log in. It says invalid username/password. My best guess is that the service may be indexing twitter users from the very first user. If you are newer to twitter, the service may not have you in their system yet.
I don't see why this would be. You would think that is checks each username and password directly with twitter. I have an account I made about a year ago that can log in just fine. But I have a newer account I created at the beginning of March that cannot. I am 100% positive I am entering the username and password right.
I bet if we give it some time it may just work. -
Inappropriate?Sorry guys, for some reason some Twitter accounts can not login. It's truly bazaar. We'll continue to look into this. A question though, would you happen to be using a Twitter client that makes a lot of API calls already? We have to burn one API call of yours for the login process, and if you've already spent your allotted 100, then that may be the culprit. It will also be difficult to be a performing tweepme member without a few extra API calls laying around.1 Comment Add a comment

Not for me. My account is fairly new and doesn't have a lot of updates yet.
Maybe these accounts were created while you were doing your maintenance the other day and have somehow become corrupted in the database? -
Inappropriate?I have tried to log in many times at different times of the day with no success. I do use TweetDeck but I changed the default API calls to happen less. It keeps track of the remaining API calls and I can verify that having quite a few left (80) and it resets in 10 minutes, I still cannot log in.
I would love to help troubleshoot this problem. Do you collect the names first some how? Or even the ID of the user? Or does it check twitter each time someone tries to log in, then copies the pertinent user information over to your DB?
What's even stranger is the I have 2 laptops in front of my. They are both running OS X and Firefox. Sometimes tweepme.com will give me a "Server Error in '/' Application." on one of them but not the other. This even happens if I try to refresh the page. -
Inappropriate?Ok, did a little more testing. I have 3 different twitter accounts.
1. My personal one can log in just fine and it is the oldest. Although I am not going to use my personal one with this service.
2. My work on cannot log in. It was created at the beginning of March. It has 13 characters in it's user name and cannot log in to the system.
3. An even newer account I created for a screen cast can log in to the system. It has a 6 character username. Is it possible your DB or some other aspect of your app cannot accept long usernames? -

We believe this to be a cache issue on some browsers, as a few members have reported success afterclearing their cache and trying again.
