No columns no accounts after Tweetdeck 0.26.2 upgrade
After upgrade to 0.26.2 no columns no accounts not anything. Just an empty tweetdeck window. Have been trying to create account which hasn't worked yet so no Tweetdeck account.
Using Tweetdeck on Kubuntu 9.04.
kernel info: 2.6.28-13-generic #44-Ubuntu i686 GNU/Linux
How do I fix this? where can i get 0.26.1 which worked just fine?

Inappropriate?Similar issue here--using Windows XP. Clicking the Settings button gets...nothing. Other buttons seem to work, as long as they don't require account information...
I've removed and re-installed twice without any change. -
Update: This occurred after the upgrade to v0.26.2 Also, uninstalled Adobe AIR, then reinstalled. No change. -
Inappropriate?Have 3 columns: all friends, mentions and direct messages. After update to 0.26.2, only 1 or 2 of the 3 columns are shown, and never the same 2 columns.
Right before the upgrade I had the 'error downloading update' problem.
I'm on OS X 10.5.7.
Please fix. I miss my tweetdeck :(

Updates seem to be lagging too. Twitter status is ok yet no updates for the last 15 minutes shown while there *are* 7 updates... -
Inappropriate?Tried the following:
Removed Tweetdeck and all config files.
Removed Adobe Air and all config files.
Then reinstalled everything. None of this fixed the problem. Can some one from the Tweetdeck team tell me how to fix this please?

Inappropriate?Yo... Tweetdeck! How about copping to this problem and telling us your workin' on it. Where's the "conversation"? You're a friggin' social media company. Doh! Can you say "seesmic.com"?

Inappropriate?I know two other folk who have this same problem. Full delete of tweetdeck and all related files, and reinstall of AIR + tweetdeck didn't solve it. They're now using different clients :-/
I’m sad

Inappropriate?I think I have same problem, Ubuntu 9.04, TweetDeck was fine, moved system to new hardrive, copying home folder, updating apps. a few rights problems fixed, all works now except TweetDeck on MY account just shows icons with blank screen, WIFE'S account works just fine!. can't find the diff!.
I’m stuck

Gave Up, Switched to Gwibber, Only problem I had was I had to install ver 0.9.2 to get facebook posts, ver 0.8 in standard repository doesn't get the facebook posts. -
Inappropriate?Fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04, Adobe Air and TweetDeck; same problems. Can't do anything, settings won't show.. This sucks

Inappropriate?I managed to solve the problem by removing the twitter(cache?) directory from the Adobe Air installation. Unfortunately this also removed my personal settings (like custom groups).
The good news is that the latest tweetdeck version allows you to export this personal info to a tweetdeck server, so you won't lose it again in the same way.
I’m happy

I can't find a twitter folder in my adobe air installation. Could you be more specific about name and location? I'd be much appreciated! I'm on Windows XP btw. -
Inappropriate?Sure, here's the path on my Win Vista install <driveletter>:\users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\TweetDeckFast.F910711xxxx.1</username></driveletter>
-
Thanks! For others, the location on XP is:
<driveletter>:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\TweetDeckFast.F9107117265DB7542C1A806C8DB837742CE14C21.1\Local Store
Remove the two .db and .xml files. It worked for me!</username></driveletter> -
Inappropriate?I had this problem, but I had to delete the driveletter:\Documents and Settings\[guid]\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\TweetDeckFast.[guid] directory too. Here's the post I found with the details:

Inappropriate?Had the same problem, had to sign out of TweetDeck account syncing and start from fresh. Started working instantly after signing out and restarting the application.
Must be some issue with your TweetDeck account across new configurations.
Boo.
I’m a Disapointed developer
