Would a feed for the question which includes answers be a first step? Then progess into sending notices to you on twitter? -
Inappropriate?Feeds are good. I am reworking how to 'read' twitter.
I am considering pointing my feed at Google Reader and using it as my main way of reading my inbound tweets, especially for desk & laptops. Also as a Brit whose about to have to begin to pay for his phone, receiving SMS isn't attractive. Also some people/orgs are too prolific. So feeds would be good.
Maybe putting watchs into a fixed ../people/me page and having an RSS version of that would be a good first start
