Hang Ups about Hang Ups
When an inbound call made from a cell phone runs out of TwiML to execute it just hangs up but from my AT+T home phone I hear it ring again and then I get an error from AT+T. Am I not forcing the connection to close properly?

Inappropriate?By home phone, do you mean wired landline?
I believe in most cases, if you are on a landline and the remote party hangs up, you hear an error after a few seconds telling you that you left your phone off the hook.
Let me know if I'm misunderstanding the question.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I've been doing so much testing with my cell i never noticed it before. is there a way to avoid it? -
Inappropriate?I am assuming you are just hearing the default " *RING* If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again" error. Is that correct?
As far as I know, the only way to avoid it is to hang up the phone when the call is over. What is the behavior you are looking for in this case?

that's exactly what it's doing. I was just wondering if there was a way to make it behave more like the cell phone that just hangs up. i guess i could just say "Goodbye!" to the user and then pause for a while and hope they hang up first... -
Inappropriate?Cell phones and analog phones are different. When the call is done on a cellphone, it shuts down the radio connection and puts the cellphone in a mode to receive new calls automatically. For regular analog land line phones, they are actually holding the circuit open when off the hook, preventing new calls from coming in. I don't think there is any way to reset that line without hanging up.

You're right. I think I'll just pause and wait for the human to hang up first. Thanks for the feedback!
