lol you guys are killing me. the twitbin follow ad only shows to people who haven't logged in, and are in public stream.
we're working on options for removing the ads.

Inappropriate?As a note to the Twitbin folks -- I've become so accustomed to skipping over the "TWITBIN (FOLLOW?) Advertise on twitbin!" blurb and icon that I totally missed your REAL tweet, today. It really ruins the effectiveness of what you're trying to do.

Inappropriate?I use the Firefox add-on "Stylish" along with a custom style to hide the annoying little yellow beast. Works well.
I’m wishing they just gave us the option to kill the yellow burble.

Inappropriate?You may be able to use AdBlock Plus somehow. If anybody figures out how, tell us the filter rule.
The "page" TwitBin uses is: chrome://twitbin/content/index.html

Zedo, thats how twitbin got started. :-) I have no problem with modding, as long as it doesn't break everything and people expect me to fix it for them after.

Exactly, you didn't like how Firefox had no Default Twitter Sidebar, so you modded one in.
