Scrollbar and bottom of oldest tweet covered by Firefox status bar
The problem is completely evident in the image. This happens with all tabs containing tweets; resizing TwitKit or Firefox doesn't change a thing.

Inappropriate? This was a bug with the list-sizing algorithm we're using. It's fixed - thanks for the report!
The company says
this solves the problem

Inappropriate? The "user" column scroll bar is covered by the main Firefox frame - public, friends, followers and @s columns are OK
I’m also sad that a "fixed" problem has returned

Inappropriate? If someone you follow has posted a tweet with a long word / long URL that doesn't have a space in between, unfortunately there's not much we can do to prevent it from extending the tweet area past the bounds of the view. It's a feature not yet implemented to be able to force line breaks with HTML (the markup language that TwitKit uses to decide how things are displayed).

Thanks Hans; I understand your explanation and the problem has now disappeared, presumably because the offending tweet has disappeared. However it seems wrong that all tweets below the screen area should become inaccessible because of one over-long line on one tweet. I think you should implement a forced line break on long words and substitute long URLs for bit.ly or tinyurl equivalents when the maximum span width of your view is exceeded.

Inappropriate?Still having issues with the scrollbar. Think you'll have it fixed soon?
I’m slightly inconvenienced
-
Do you mean that your scrollbar is overextended horizontally or vertically? -
Horizontally. It gets covered by the right side divider and I can't click on it without resizing the sidebar. I like to keep the TwitKit sidebar as small as possible so I can see the page that I'm on, but if I make it too small then I can't access the scrollbar. -
Inappropriate?I solved this and other problems - unreliability, poor customer support and non-existent documentation by uninstalling Twitkit and installing Tweetdeck http://www.tweetdeck.com which has so far been entirely reliable (I have no connection with Tweetdeck).
I’m relieved

I think I'll stick with TwitKit and wait for them to fix the problem.
