TwitKit Updating Very Behind!
TwitKit is running very behind with updating my tweets, the latest ones are from over 12 hours ago despite hitting the "refresh" button. This is only occurring in my "friends" feed.

Inappropriate?By the 'friends' feed, do you mean the tab that shows the people you follow? If so, you're saying that the statuses for each user aren't updating?
-
Inappropriate?I noticed that the friends and followers tabs do not show the latest tweets by the people there, even if I refresh. It's a little annoying.
I’m okay

Inappropriate?Yes, I've done some testing, and this is a problem that Twitter is having with their API. Unfortunately we can't do much about it, but I hope it'll be fixed soon.

Inappropriate? This started happening to me this morning - a direct call in my browser to http://twitter.com/statuses/friends_t... shows all the tweets (and no malformed XML that I can see) but TwitKit does not. Up until this morning, the only time I didn't get updated tweets in TwitKit was when Twitter included plain text blocks in the middle of their XML, which obviously plays havoc with an XML parser :).

Inappropriate?Could you check if the JSON feed has the same problem as what you mention with the XML? I'm not seeing any lagging on my end. (TwitKit uses the JSON feed - it might not be the same problem.. hopefully we can diagnose this!)

Inappropriate? My JSON feed is up to date as well - however, I did notice that near the point where I stopped getting updates, one of my friends used a smiley emoticon :) - could that unescaped colon have thrown off the JSON parser?
-
Inappropriate? It's very likely that the smiley may have messed up the JSON parser - if this is the case, then, we need to talk to Twitter about correctly escaping characters in the JSON format.
