Bell Canada cell phone Images sorta half working but could be better....
sending from Bell Canada cell phone via email to twitpic seems to only use the icon of the photo that is included in the email, i think this is similar to what sprint does, it sends an email with a small preview in a HTML image with a link to a page with the image larger and than another link there to the full sized one..
Also bell sends the subject line that was entered on the following page using their standard subject in the email "A Picture/Video Message!"
Is this what sprint does and was that fixed? can this be applied to bell canada emails with a few tweaks?

Inappropriate?I have the same problem with the "A Picture/Video Message" appearing as my tweet instead of the message I put into the Subject line.
@jillbrowne
Samsung Instinct phone on Bell Canada
Hope this can be fixed... it's the reason I chose the phone! -
Inappropriate?ya other sites (facebook etc) have figured out how to script it, i figure its doable its just gonna take some focus at the back end.. hopefully others will speak up here.
-
Inappropriate?I have the same problem as well; had it with flickr too.
-
Inappropriate?I have the exact same issue, and its annoying as hell. Pictures are showing up at less than half the size, and its always tagged with "A Picture/Video message!". I too am on Bell Canada. Please fix this, twitpic!
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? No updates on this issue? I really want to use twitpic with my phone, but can't until this is resolved.
-
Inappropriate?I called Bell Canada to complain of this issue, and they had no interest in any kind of resolution outside of blaming it on scripting faults from other sites.
I’m frustrated
-
It is a scripting issue, they need to do what they did to incoming pictures from the sprint network with a few tweaks to make it work with bells.. im pretty sure they are almost the same issue, only ours isnt fixed yet. I would say encourage any friends on twitter and bell to leave comments here to get more interest in getting this fixed. -

Inappropriate? There have surely got to be other Bell customers having this issue, and if they aren't having it, I'd love to know what they're doing to work around it.
None of the usual workaround sites are of any help, since they all use MMS.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I'm seeing the same issue... if they could just drop the 'A Picture/Video Message' part it'd be a first good step. Bell could help fix it if they cared, as they could accept the subject someone sets and put it as the email's subject, or after a "Pic/Video Message: ..... " that could be easily parsed out.
I'd be willing to send a, or multiple, pics from my phone to anyone working on the twitpic stuff.. my name is the same here and on twitter/twitpic..
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? What's frustrating is that they've already fixed the exact same problem for Sprint customers. It would take little to no modifications to get this working for people using Bell Mobility.
The impression that this gives me is that if you're not in the US, they don't really care about fixing the problem.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?I'm a Bell Mobility customer, but have a smartphone, so I can just send pics as an attachment to a regular email, so I don't have the problem. But, my wife has a normal phone, so she can't send an MMS message to twitpic and have it work properly.
It'd be nice if twitpic would fix it like they did with Sprint, but it'd be even nicer if Bell would drop the lame "A Picture/Video Message!!!" with a link BS, and send a proper MMS message.
-
Inappropriate?Same problem here. Just adding my name to list in hopes that there are enough of us to warrant a fix.
I’m frustrated and disappointed.
-
Inappropriate?I just started a Facebook group about this problem. Please consider joining. The more of us complaining as one voice, the better the chance we have of getting it fixed.

I’m ticked at Bell.
-
Inappropriate?I suggest that you go to the Bell website and send them email complaining of the various issues we're experiencing here.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I am on Bell as well. And like everyone here, when I send a picture, it tags it as "picture/video message"..not what I input as the subject. And on twitpic, you can't edit that either. No one found a solution yet? I've tried calling Bell, and half the people working there, don't even know "what a twitter" is.
-
Inappropriate? They blame it on third-party lack of coding ability. There is apparently a solution out there, other sites have used it with the Spring network in the US. It has the same issues we're complaining of here. I wish someone would just get around to fixing that up for us.
I've tried talking to Bell too. I would suggest going to their website and using one of the feedback forms there to make the complaints. If nothing else, at least there'll be a record of the complaint. I'm not sure they always forward vocal concerns to the right people.
If Bell would just NOT embed items into HTML, it would be great. No one else who provides service around here seems to find it a problem.
I’m still annoyed
-
Inappropriate?Still no resolutions anywhere. I've sent yet another email to Bell. No doubt they'll give it the same 'attention' they gave the last one.
I’m getting really sick of this, and I don't blame it on twitpic, this is Bell's cranky problem
-
Inappropriate?i have the same problem :(
bell should really work on this..idiots -
Inappropriate?its not bells issue to fix, its twitpic's issue to fix.
emailing/talking to bell wont get anything done, twitpic has to wake up look at what they did with sprints image handling and modify it to work for bells style. -
Inappropriate?Or Bell could quit with the ridiculous "A Picture/Video Message!!" crap and just send a normal MMS message.
-
Inappropriate?Anyone know if Twitpic is going to address this issue yet? I do think Bell needs to stop injecting text into our subject lines, it's annoying
I’m annoyed
-
Inappropriate?I suspect our problem is low on the list, given how few of us are complaining about it.
-
Inappropriate? Now that Bell is going to start offering the iPhon, I wonder if their going to continue crippling even that item's capabilities with their retarded coding issues.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Hello all,
Thank you for reporting this issue to Twitpic. We hope to resolve the issue with Bell in the future.
I’m happy
