Keep the photo's EXIF data
Maybe the data is just getting lost on the way - but I think it would be cool if TwitPic would grab and save the EXIF data from the photos sent in (and perhaps display some basic EXIF data on the photo page - such as camera model, exposure, etc.).

Thanks for the great suggestion. We've actually been working hard the last few weeks on a new image processing backend that will incorporate this feature. We will begin using EXIF data when we go roll out this new system.

Inappropriate?Hopefully you can include an "opt in" and "opt out" for this feature, because there's bits of EXIF data that not everyone wants to 'share to the world'.

That is a good point antrover. Which EXIF data specifically would you like to have the option to be made private? -
Inappropriate?Some cameras include their serial number in the EXIF data. Some would argue "It's just a serial number", others would argue "That's private data". I honestly could careless, but some people might care.
Also, geotagging images (using EXIF data) is most awesome, but once again some people may not want to include those bits.
I on the other hand think it would be quite awesome to see where I've taken pictures.
