Inappropriate?Clearly what's happening is that you're updating your database in parallel from two users posting pics simultaneously and only returning one result to both users. You need to build some serialisation (aka locking) into your database update so that it's single threaded and each update is atomic.

Inappropriate?It's not just you, it's happened to me too and originally my picture DID appear. Suddenly, something else is there and nothing emailed is going in!

Inappropriate?I posted a pic from PockeTwit on WM6.1 and another person's pic was in its place.
(Bizarrely enough, both contained dogs, but I think that was just random luck!)
I'm a bit miffed that my pic might now be in someone else's account.

Inappropriate?I don't believe my app (PockeTwit) is the issue. I'd say Dougie has the right solution, or is at least on the right track. TwitPic is somehow getting confused during simultaneous updates - either on the DB level, or at some point in the pipeline from accepting pics to publishing them to the web, and any conversion steps in between.
The other possibility is some sort of hash collision... not as likely, but possible if the hash function is too simple.

Inappropriate?This is becoming more and more of a problem. Every friend of mine who uses Twitpic is having issues, too. Is anyone addressing it? It's kind of a big deal, when lewd pics that you did not take show up as your own on your twitter...

Inappropriate?Happened to me as well. Had a pic of my home town not theres a pic of some old lady in her living room. Emailed Twitpic as advised.
