We have fixed the issue with sprint. Sprint users should now be able to send in their photos to twitpic. Let us know that its working and if you have any issues. Thank you very much for your patience everyone.

Currently sprint picture mail does not work with TwitPic. The reason being that Sprint does not attach the picture as an email attachment when sending a photo to an email address. Sprint sends an HTML email with the image displayed via an
tag, so our system is not able to find and post the image.
We've been aware of this issue since we released the mobile posting feature and we are working on cooking up a solution to solve this. Thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it.

Inappropriate?Cool, photobucket supports Sprint pic mail, so perhaps there is a solution
-
Inappropriate?Sprint also works with Flickr, so hopefully it will start working with TwitPic soon.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? We are still working on this. We have found a fix and are developing it. Sorry this is taking longer than normal. Twitpic has been growing so fast we've also been tackling scaling issues as well.

Thanks for the update! -
Yep, thanks for the update! :) -
Where is the fix? I've looked, can't find it. thanks -
Inappropriate?Glad I found this issue. I was beginning to think twitpic didn't work.
I’m glad it's being worked on

Inappropriate?Since Facebook Mobile works for both photos and videos with Sprint Picture Mail, I send mobile photos to mobile@facebook.com and then update Twitter manually. It is a kludgey solution, but it fills a gap.
I’m somewhat annoyed.

There is a fix in the works. The reason it has not been rolled out yet was due to twitpic getting high traffic and we were forced to move our time into keeping twitpic stable and up, but we have got those issues under control and are back on the sprint issue and we will have a fix rolled out soon. -

Inappropriate?I'm still receiving the "You have received a Multimedia Message " with Qwest, which uses Sprint.
-
Thanks for letting us know about this. We will filter this out for you. Thanks again. -
Inappropriate?Bell Mobility (Bell Canada) has the exact same problem. Emails are sent with a link to the picture. Can this fixed be applied to Bell Mobility/Canada customers?
-
Inappropriate?A vote for a Bell Mobility fix as well. I'm getting very frustrated at not being able to use ANY of the photo-blogging services the way they were meant to be used. Bell doesn't give a crap - they blame all the issues on the third-party sites.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? You said a year ago that you have fixed the problem, but I still can't send images to Twitpic. When will this be fixed?
-
I've been using Twitpic with Sprint for months without any issues. You may want to check something on your end. -
Inappropriate?Unfortunately, some cell phones and mobile providers are not fully compatible with our picture by e-mail service.
You may notice the following problems if your phone or mobile provider is not compatible:
a. The description of your picture is blank or incorrect
b. The picture shows up as the logo of your mobile provider
c. Your pictures appear small, fuzzy, or incorrectly oriented.
We are working with various mobile providers to correct these issues and hope to have a solution for you soon.
In order to help us diagnose the issue with your mobile provider, please send a test image from your mobile phone to mobile-bugs@twitpic.com

Inappropriate?Sprint's screwed up its PictureMail and now it doesn't work with TwitPic again.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I have this issue. It's worked in the past until recently.
-
Inappropriate?I'm another sprint customer - my twitpics worked fine up until last week - then it stopped working all together - helllloooooo Sprint - what did you do????????
I’m ticked off
-
Inappropriate?Nichelle, send an email to sprintcares@sprint.com with your issue and mobile number so they know it's a problem.
Also try tweeting @sprintcare with your issue. -
Inappropriate?Hi all,
I have spent the morning investigating this issue and, as far as I can tell, it appears to be an problem with Sprint. The "View Entire Message" link that they send to us in their PictureMail is consistently broken, preventing us from retrieving the images that you send to Twitpic.
I have sent an e-mail to Sprint describing the problem. Hopefully, they will be able to resolve it quickly.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate? Thanks, I was able to post a pic to twitpic after being notified from @sprintcare to give it a try.
I’m happy
