Twittastic refuses to work for me, anymore. It just crashes on startup. The newest update refuses to install as well. Idk wtf is going on. :(

Inappropriate?Do you get the common crash report popup ? I haven't gotten an error report in over a week. If you don't then the error is happening before Twittastic even starts.
It would really help if you could send me your application state. To do that, you can go to your c:\users\<username>\AppData\ zip and send me the 'Sojourner' folder. It does contain personal data but I can't examine your case without it.</username> -
Inappropriate?Yea, it pops up everytime I start it. It's probably sent like 20 before I stopped sending them. How would I go about sending the zip so no one else can get it?
-
Inappropriate? That's really odd, because I haven't received them.
You can send the files at kcorax@removethis.gmail.com or majordomo@removethis.kcorax.net after you remove the 'removethis.' part.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's really helpful.
Be sure to change your password *right* after you zip the files.
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate? No problem. I just sent the e-mail with the subject "Twittastic ZIP".
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for submitting the error data.
What I see reveals a data corruption issue that happens when Twittastic is terminated rather abruptly. Still this shouldn't happen.
Deleting the mentioned Sojourner folder and then running Twittastic will let you start over. -
Inappropriate? If you are doing this in Windows 7, then it's a known problem. The system thinks it has SP1 for .net 3.5 but it doesn't. You need to run the .net installer from www.twittastic.net
If you're having this in Vista, I will have to look at it separately. -
Inappropriate?I've tried running running the .net installer, which appears to not do anything. I've tried installing Twittastic on my laptop, which is also running Windows 7, and it, too, gets the same dialog.
-
Inappropriate?I've tried some quick fixes but I can't get it to support your case. Up to now I've been using officially supplied internal Win 7 releases which don't sport this issue. I'm now getting my hands on the public release Build 7000 and I will do my best to address this.
I’m sorry you're suffering
-
Inappropriate?Let me know how it goes with build 7000. I have no problems reformatting if it turns out there aren't any issues with a clean install. In which case, I would report back any conflicting configurations with my setup after reinstalling.

Inappropriate?Hi,
I uploaded a lineup of deployment options at http://twittastic.net/downloads.html . They work on my VMs from the public beta and the leaked torrent. *Please* do let me know how they work out for you.
