I can not log in. I have reset my password, and I still get the same crappy message that my information is wrong. someone please fix the issue! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR TWO DAYS NOW

gmail I recently uploaded all 4000 of my contacts in to my gmail contacts. When I have Twitter access my gmail contacts to see if any of them have twitter accounts, it searches and then tells me "you have no emails". I know for sure that some of my contacts have twitter accounts - so why does it come back completely empty handed, as if I had no gmail contacts at all (you'd think if it was close it would at least say something like: "none of your contacts has a Twitter account"... ??!!

is there a difference between a reply (@username) and a direct message? I am trying to use the python twitter api implementation to write a mashup. Thanks.

why is the archives' older button greyed out? is this a feature which has yet to be implemented? i've hand addressed the url to end with the ?page=2, only to have the page revert to page 1. i've tried variations with home, twittername, archives, etc.?

My Tweet list only goes back ten pages. What happens to older Tweets? Are they deleted? Archived? I'm really curious where Tweets go after they fall off of Page 10.

My question is about Twitter HTML/Javascript Badge customization. I don't know CSS. Isn't there an easier way to do this? Has anyone set up some sort of "builder" so you can set the settings of how you want your tweets to view? (aka color, width, font, etc) If not, is Twitter planning on adding this feature?

i've used the "flash badge with friends" but don't really like the look and layout for the blog. i'd like to use the HTML version but also include the messages friends send. is there a way to customize the HTML badge to include messages from friends?

I would love to be able to send certain messages only to certain sets of people through some sort of grouping functionality.

Like when I go to a conference, I want to be able to send certain messages only to other twitter friends who are also at that conference. A lot of my friends get really annoyed with me when I'm constantly twittering about an event they're not lucky enough to attend.

Do you guys have any plans to implement this or any other sort of grouping functionality? Is there a timeframe for this? How long do I have to wait?!

Is the Facebook app broken? I'm getting debug information when I click on it in Facebook.

I set up my phone for text message updates, and whatever I text hasn't been posting on Twitter... but today I searched for myself on TwitDir, and MyUserName1 (so MyUserName with a "1" appended to it) is getting my text updates! So a whole other user account is getting my tweets from my texts - how do I reroute that text traffic back to my actual (full) account?

I can't block a spammer. Says he's blocked, but he doesn't come off my followers list. I have tried both on my followers list and on my followers list.

Do your tweets ever auto-delete after a certain time period? Or are they ALWAYS in your archive?

Background Info:
I'm not so sure if i will use this so much on the social-networking side, but I think I could really see myself using this is a simple form of a blog. I think my main problem when trying to start journals is I write like one huuuge post and then the thought of repeating this daunting task keeps me from ever doing it. I think with Twitter it is actually more of a fun challenge to summarize a day nicely into 140 characters leaving my memory to provide the filler.

Unless there is some huge event or something, a sentence or two would do just fine, just to keep records of what is going on, generally. In the end, pouring out all my feelings into a diary is really not my style anyway. I am a huge fan or archives--i figured I should have some form of record of my own life. So that is the premise upon which my question is based--will Twitter work for my application?

I am trying to contact the good samaritan who set up our rss feeds as a twitterfeed (@minnpost). Thought I could direct message them through Twitter, but I'm not allow d message because they are not following me. Any ideas how I can contact? Or, if contact can not be made, can I get advice on how I can manage the account? I am the director of operations at minnpost.com. (Note: I posed this to the TwitterFeed getsatisfaction account, and they suggested it's a twitter profile thang, not TwitterFeed.) Thx!

What is the fastest way to get on the Twitter API whitelist? I am creating a mashup that incorporates a trust API which will allow a user to encrypt updates so that only members of a trusted group can read them. Testing this mashup is extremely difficult with a limit of 20 calls / hours.
