Recently active problems in Twitter

My profile says I am following 0 people and have 0 followers, but I didn't change anything... everything seems to be deleted? I have over 1240 followers --- and am following over 4000 - why is it not showing???Never had this happen before!

twitter older linking is not working, the button is still there, but cant be clicked. therefore my older entries couldn't be shown...is there a bug or something? or is there any setting adjustment needed to be made? can you solve this problem asap? Thanks.

I cannot log on...it takes me to a page that shows << >>> and other messages.

One of my tweets from almost 4 hours ago (via sms) never posted...

Some messages from people I'm following are not showing up in my timeline. For example, my friend Juverna posted a tweet about four hours ago (the text is "@nullalux: he certainly is!"); I can see it at Juverna's Twitter page (http://twitter.com/juverna), but not in my own timeline.

I do have my timeline set up to show replies to other people, and I can see other @ replies in my timeline--but that one is missing. Other tweets have been missing lately, too.

Unable to use direct message - says "Technical Issues" we are working on ... however, have been receiving direct messages from others thru Twitter, even tho I'm getting this error

I can't create an account as the "Humanness" is blank!?

I'm getting tweets from someone via SMS that I'm not following and has his tweets listed as private.

does twitter work with metro pcs, i cant tell if my phoone is linked to twitter yet

Lost most of my followers and those I was following. Gee Whiz. I've been excited over all my participation and my followers on Twitter. I leave Twitter for several hours and look what happens. How can we know there are people on the other side of our browsers working on the details...so our fav site...Twitter will be back to normal?

Hello Twitter geeks....where are you?

I am having a problem with Comcast. I called at 7:20pm and I was told that my service was interrupted. So I was thinking that my bill was due, so I paid. Come to find out there was an outage in my area. I founded this out when I called the customer service, and she stated that I did not needed to make a payment. WELL I ALREADY DID. I could have used this money to pay another bill. I would like this to be a reversal payment ASAP.

I too lost all my followers/following. username shawnbailey. I will no longer use this site until they are restored.

I sent the verification code from my verizon phone and nothing has happened. The twitter site still says i need to sign up for SMS messaging. When I send HELP to 40404 I get a reply though.

Anyone know what's going on?

My twitter RSS feeds have been down since Friday. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Thx.

Deleted an update and got the confirmation. But the update still doesn't delete. (using Flock on XP)

I'm suddenly seeing My updates are protected. Request to follow me when I click the icons of some - but not all - friends with locked updates, although we mutually agreed to follow each other weeks ago.

Example: paganinijones - whose updates (seen yesterday evening!) don't currently appear in my timeline, either.
My @paganinijones tweets at that time are also currently missing from my timeline!

This is partcularly inconvenient because paganinijones first joined Twitter in order to be in better contact with me!

The number of my friends has decreased (I'll report this in the proper thread too), though I've not yet worked out who's missing:

Following: 35 (should be 41, I think)
Followers: 19 (should be ca. 28)

In two recent tweets, timtfj reports a more extreme variant of this problem:

Current sitn: @Eridanus listed as only follower/ee; get ppl's updates but protected ones have "only giving updates 2my friends - add me"

I suspect this problem is in part related to the follower/following counts issues described in the Twitter status report Updated follower/following counts and on the metaTwitter (Get Satisfaction) thread Followers and Following are all gone - when will this be fixed?.

I haven't added or updated mobile devices in months.

Twitter isn't compatible with Loudtwitter (http://loudtwitter.typepad.com/) anymore! They changed the rate limits, and now I can't auto-post a day's twitters to my blog. That's a huge part of why I use Twitter. Fix, please!

I'm getting an error in Twitterific and Twhirl that says:

"Twitter returned a "temporarily overloaded" error. This is a problem with the server that provides tweets to Twitterrific. Please contact Twitter at http://twitter.com/help if the problem persists."

Is this due to something I am doing? I post a normal amount, less than once per hour in most cases. I noticed the problem when I first started using Twhirl, about a week ago.

Lost a few hundred followers. Twitter continues to demonstrate corporate worst practices.
