Hello Twitter Gods! May you please annouonce to us mere twitterfolk why many of us are having issues with badges not updating on our blogs, sites, etc. This appears to be a growing issue as many are experiencing the same thing. Please help...we love twitter.
Hi everyone,
I don't know whats wrong with my friends badge.. It was working fine but suddenly it has stopped showing any updates. Does anyone have a clue ?
We posted tweets from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pacific time Saturday. After midnight, the order of the tweets got jumbled, with older posts appearing new top, and newer ones down below. It's like the time stamps got messed up. On this page: http://twitter.com/seattletimes - the tweet that begins "Programming note" was actually the last tweet of the day!
I created a badge with the tweets from myself and my friends in customer colours, but when i copy the code in my weblog other tweets and colours appears!
The code is <@div style="width:450px;text-align:center"><@embed src="http://static.twitter.com/flash/twitter_timeline_badge.swf" flashvars="user_id=14060174&color1=0xFF8A23&color2=0xFCEC83&textColor1=0x4A396D&textColor2=0xBA0909&backgroundColor=0x848484&textSize=10" width="450" height="900" quality="high" name="twitter_timeline_badge" align="middle" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"><@/embed><@br><@a style="font-size: 10px; color: #0xBA0909; text-decoration: none" href="http://static.twitter.com/BiebmiepLeen"><@img src="http://static.twitter.com/images/twitter_bubble_logo.gif" border="0" /><@/a><@/div>
Without the @ of course!
And this is the result: http://biebmiepleen.web-log.nl/weblog...
I had a badge before en it worked perfectly but I had to change the colours and now it doesn't work anymore!
Methinks something is broken in the MySpace With Friends Badge code -- it looks great when I customize it in my settings, but when I paste the embed code into my MySpace page, it shows up as a blank Twitter-blue box with two periods underneath. Help!
I'd like to use your off-the-shelf twitter badge but not show the @replies to my friends. Kind of like how the facebook apps work just showing my regular public tweets, but I want to publish it on my own site via javascript.
why wont twitter work on my page when i try to put it on my site? when i paste the HTML code on the correct space, it shows up, but wen i save it, only the code for the title shows up. then when i go to my site home, it only shows the title "Twitter Updates." i keep trying but it doesnt work. can someone help me?
My question is in regards to css customization of the html/javascript badges. If all that shows in my source code is the javascript, how am I supposed to style it with css? Is there a list somewhere of the style's used, or a way to view the html the the javascript is outputting?
