When logged into m.twitter.com, the page for any twitter user that I follow says "You are following Phoenix".

Why is everyone called Phoenix? :-)

Cannot activate my mobile with Twitter, I have no response to SMS with the activation code.
I have sent some SMS to +447624801423, but never received a reply from twitter.

It seems to have disappeared from the bottom of the page. I'm using Firefox, and I really can't find it. I've refreshed the page several times.

Upgraded to new Safari last week. Drop down continually interrupting asking for something I can't provide.

I made an account today, and seemed to get along fine with everything with no problem until I tried to verify my mobile device.

I followed all instructions; I put my phone number in the little box, clicked the button, and it gave me a code and a number to send the code to. I did just that, and it sent me back a reply asking for security measures, what my name was. I have a terrible memory, and thought they had asked my name when I registered; so I put 'Ashley'. Send. It sent me back a message saying I was set up for the account Ashley35. And I kind of went, "Uh, what the heck?" I searched up the username, and low and behold, every message I had sent via text was on this 'Ashley35' account. With some fooling around on Twitter, I managed to sign in on that account, delete my mobile number from it, and delete the account.

So I did something wrong, right? I figured if I just tell them what my username is, there isn't a problem. It should work this time.

Re-logged in on my account.

This time, when I verified my number and gave them my username, they made ANOTHER account and all it did was tack on the little number one to the end of the username I ALREADY had. What the heck, again! So I did the same thing with the first account; got into that account it just created, deleted my number, deleted the account.

So now, I have no way of setting up my mobile number for twitter, because it just keeps creating me a new account when I want to use my own!

Is there any way to solve this problem?

I've noticed in the last few weeks that I'm missing tweets that I should be seeing. They aren't showing on my twitter home page or in twitterific.

For example, I am friends with rlthomps, nooraz, and cariberry

All of the sudden, I see rlthomps and cariberry responding to nooraz about her cat's kidney problems. I should have seen the same tweet they are responding to, but for some reason it didn't show up. (I have to go to nooraz's home page to find out what she said) I got other tweets from nooraz today, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with a particular person.

I haven't been paying enough attention to know if it replies only or regular tweets. (sorry)

My phone is getting system messages from Twitter every 60 seconds. I tried following "twitter_status" and began getting a message every minute that said "You are now following twitter_status..." I got frustrated after receiving 30+ notifications so I turned off mobile notifications. This didn't help, so I went on the website and deleted my device. Now the "you are now following" messages stopped, but I'm getting "Hi! Please confirm by replying with your name" over and over instead. I even replied with STOP and it won't stop.

If I didn't have unlimited messaging I'd be extremely pissed right now.

My sms messages are just coming through as a string of letters, numbers and characters -- no sense!

My tweets aren't posting to my Twitter stream (nor are my contacts'). Both via text and website updates. Same with some of my friends I am following, though I am still able to get notifications of their tweets via SMS. (Not sure if it's a complete feed.) Halp!

When I tweet a url containing a pound sign, or hash ("#"), the TinyURL that Twitter generates is wrong. This is due to a bug in the TinyURL API. Twitter should use the HTTP POST method to shorten links via TinyURL to work around this bug. For example, the url http://blogs.opml.org/yabfog/2008/02/... converts to http://tinyurl.com/23wjmt on Twitter when it should be http://tinyurl.com/2bd953.

Every time I login twitter asks "Authentication Required" for the the "Twitter API" but im using the the main website. Its getting annoying.

I've tried verifying my phone over and over, but nothing works. I checked the FAQ and I don't think those frequent problems are affecting me. Could it be a Sprint problem with the short code?

The Favorites feature is majorly broken.

There are multiple reports here on getsatisfaction about various problems with the Twitter Favorites feature (i.e. it doesn't work), but no one has answered any of them. Why not??

About half my original Favorites disappeared, and now every time I add a new favorite, one of the older ones drops off the bottom of the list. In addition, the *number* of Favorites indicated in my profile shows an increase, but the actual number of Favorites displayed in my account stays the same, always dropping one off when a new one is added.

I've already submitted problem reports to Twitter help, but no answer to any report other than to assign a number and then nada for over a month, now.

The formerly wonderful Favorites feature is now useless for me.

I click on "replies" --get a message "that page doesn't exist"

SERIOUSLY! Between this and the no OLDER button, I'm so fed up and wishing there would be an alternative
