I signed up for Twitter and verified my phone, but for some reason I can't get updates to my phone. I can send updates to Twitter, I just can't get any back. Oh noes!

hickups in the service. Was working AFAIK. Stopped today. I've used +44 etc. to reactivate my phone. I can receive notifications.

No need to take action. Just to let you know. Hoping it can be useful.

I often receive blank messages instead of "good" messages...

I am in Canada (using 21212 through MTS Mobility) and getting charged for every text I send to Twitter. I just got off the phone with MTS (yet again) and they assure me that the money is not charged by them, but by the company behind the shortcode (Twitter) and therefore sent directly to Twitter by MTS.

Either Twitter is getting money from the phone company for what is supposed to be a free service, or the money is getting lost in the shuffle. All I know is that I'm getting charged and the bill points to Twitter.

I'd like to talk to an actual rep from Twitter on this, since good intentioned assumptions will do nothing for me or my phone bill.

Try to set up my phone again but it says 21212 cannot be completed as dialed. Tech services says it is a problem with Twitter.

Not receiving any SMS from Twitter.

I am in Canada, and use an iPhone. I did have some problems receiving SMS from Facebook but resolved that by updating the SMS capabilities of my phone.

Everything seems to be set up correctly but I still receive no SMS.

I already set up my phone for texting, I am with Bell Canada, and I got verified - why can't I sent text updates? I tried already, sending to 21212 and nothing is happening, PLEASE HELP!

why isn't any of my contacts updates being sent to my mobile as set up?

I have it set up to send updates to my cell phone, it is registered, confirmed and I can post to twitter from my cell, but twitter SENDS ME NOTHING! Not even the nudge to update every 24 hours as it is set up to.

I have scoured each setting for any possible reason, I removed my cell phone and re-set it up, and still nothing.

I'm not receiving SMS updates on my phone (Virgin Mobile Canada). I sent in an email to support like the thread here and the one it links to suggests (http://getsatisfaction.com/twitter/to...) but I haven't had a response. My sidebar says 75/250 sms received but I never actually get them.

Any ideas?

SMS has stopped working entirely for me. Everything was working fine up until about a week ago, now everything sent to the twitter short code fails. My provider is Virgin Mobile Canada. I've tried deleting and setting things up again to no avail.
