I keep having problems with my "design"-- uploaded a picture for background and all was well, then suddenly it disappeared. I've tried to re-upload that picture, as well as other pictures, and I receive a message that the changes to my profile have been saved, yet when go back to "home" and look at my profile, the background image is not there (just white background). What gives? Tearing my hair out. Thanks for whatever guidance you can give me!
I get this error every time I try to update my design on twitter from the standard design:
1 error prohibited this current user from being saved.
There was a problem with the following field: * Email must not already be in use."
I'd totally love to see some more options for styling my twitter page. I'm not saying being able to ditch the twitter logo but perhaps having more control over the css styles than we already have? I for one feel almost limited in my creativity with the options twitter gives me.
Thoughts? Shall we discuss a little more or is this in the pipe line already? I'd be totally stoked if this was on the product map somewhere.
Could you make your design options more user-friendly (less numerical)? It would be great if you offered a dozen or so different templates along with an easy option to customize. It's a little boring to have so many profiles looking exactly the same. I understand it's all a part of branding but your competitors offer a lot more flexibility to express oneself.
Can you implement a function for background image alignment? Right now you only have tiled or not-tiled, and the not-tiled aligns the background to the left side of the page.
I designed a background that looks great behind the content, but as the page stretches the content moves because it's centered, and then looks very bad. I have to resize my browser to see it the way I want.
Could you place "messages" on a tab next to replies. Tabs RECENT, REPLIES, DIRECT, ARCHIVE, EVERYONE.
This to me seems a better design approach & saves the context switch giving a smoother usage case.
I tried to change the design of my twitter account, by I end up with a page in which the top left quadrant of the screen still has the original baby blue twitter default background.
