Call to Twitter API to get Favorites broken?

Our app makes a call to get a user's Favorites from the Twitter API. Up until a few days ago it was working perfectly. Now when we call, we get this result:

<error>TwitterUnavailable</error>
<errormessage>
</errormessage></statusesresult>

Is this call temporarily down? Did something change?
