Help with Security Information Window

Since the blow up yesterday I get the annoying "This page contains both secure and non secure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" Window and it's driving me crazy. This happens with all requests.

Is Twitter coded to open all links in IE? My default browser is Firefox, but links in tweets are opening in IE.

i can't log in in internet explorer

I can log in in firefox, and on IE6, but can't log in using IE7 at home.

I just get cycled back to the login page with no explanation
