I tried both PC and mobile (iPhone) but I get the same error message. I click the Follow button on my friend's site and get the "Something went wrong! Please refresh the page and try again." dialog box.
I joined Twitter in the past month and this is the first person I tried to add where I got an error.
I have not received any tweets on my phone since last Thursday, and the tweets I sent from my phone never hit my account. I tried to reset my mobile over the weekend, and texted the verify code, but never received a confirmation text in reply. I have tried to delete my mobile and start over about 4 times now and still the same.
I have sent 2 requests for help to Twitter but have received no reply. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anyone help me?
I've been tracking a few words on Twitter for a while now, and I've realized that my iPhone never gets any updates for them. I get PLENTY of updates from the people that I track on mobile, but none from my tracked words.
For instance, I track "Dfest", as it's a music conference that I'm going to this weekend. I thought there just hadn't been any updates with "Dfest" in them, but once I checked out Summize (Twitter search), I saw a lot of updates for "Dfest" over the last few days.
I even texted "tracks" to Twitter to make sure I was tracking it, and it verified my claim. It showed me quite a few words, none of which I have ever received updates for.
I'm trying to set up Twitter with my Sprint Palm Centro. I keep texting 40404, and I don't get a reply. I also tried sending a short code to Google - and still no reply. I called Sprint to see if they could check to see if my short codes were blocked, and they said all of their phones don't support third-party applications such as Twitter. Then how is it that other Sprint customers can tweet from their mobiles and I can't? Please help.
I can't get my mobile phone to work on Twitter. Even though I've tried several times to send an SMS with the setup code, I've never been able to receive any updates. The "device" page on Twitter, tells me I have not sent the sms yet.

I use Unicel on a Treo650. Unicel has said they do not and will not support short codes. So, for now, I have to fire up my mobile browser and go to mobile twitter. It works but a lot of extra keystrokes to get there.
I have seen similar posts but none with the exact same problem. I need two different accounts. One for personal, one for professional and I understand the need for different emails but I really need to be mobile and be able to respond quickly on my phone but Twitter only allows me to associate one phone # to an account and to no others but I want to post personal=get personal and post professional=get professional tweets. Please help I need a solution I'm having withdrawals!!!
I'm currently using the twitter in the UK. I currently get standard rates when texting twitter. However my question, can I tweet from France when I go on holiday and continue to get my standard rates? And if not, is there a way I can make it so I do?
how do you find out what twitter account a mobile number is associated to.. i just setup a twitter account and it says my mobile number (cell number) is already in use??? i dont remember setting up a twitter account before... :|
i added my phone number and sent a text for verification (scrambled letters) but how long does this verification take? the first time i tried to verify my number i sent the confirmation code sms to 40404 (i'm in the us of a) and waited about 24 hours to put up my first mobile post. much to my dismay, it never posted and the sidebar was still urging me to add my mobile device. i resent the confirmation code sms and waited two days...my device still wasn't added. i just "delete and start over"-ed it and sent the new code in. how many days/weeks should i wait until i am finally able to see "Twitter really shine"? is it because my mobile phone carrier is sprint? could my phone be too crappy? i text message all the time without problems...
Mobile Web not working - http://m.twitter.com has now been down for at leats 4 hours. On my Windows mobile device I get "This page contains errors and cannot be displayed". The mobile web page does work on the desktop.
I changed my mobile device number. I do not receive a verification SMS to the phone. I tried changing back to the old number with same empty result. Is there a system problem?
