Recently active topics in Twitter tagged with not displaying

I got an email notification of a new follower, but they aren't being displayed in my followers. It's been a couple of days, and they still haven't showed up.

After I deleted a lot of (spam) followers, to leave just one, legitimate follower, it still says I have two followers, but just shows the one I wanted...

UPDATE:
I've seen that this has been reported already and replied to by a member of Twitter staff. They said it is a bug they are working on. SIX months ago. Were they lying or is this a superbug more resistant than MRSA???
