Recently active topics in Twitter tagged with sort

i notice that when someone follows me, they get added randomly in my list of followers. cant they be viewed in an order like the first one who followed me is on the top of my list and the latest who followed me is in the bottom of the list?

how are those little icons on the right of my "page" arranged? is there a way to manually rearrange them?

i'm totally confused about how they are arranged. it doesn't seem to be in the order i started following them, or by the most popular, or alphabetical, or anything i can think of.

i'd like to rearrange it so that my wife, and other personal friends are near the top. is this possible?

how are the people on the side navigation ranked? it isn't by followers because the first one on mine has 7k, and the 8th has 313 and the 15th has 1k+ or so.

what's the formula they are ranked/positioned?
