does the Twitter Search API use a different user ID scheme than the main twitter API?

they don't seem to match up. I'm referring to the 'from_user_id' value on the search API, and the 'ID' value on the main twitter API.

After I deleted a lot of (spam) followers, to leave just one, legitimate follower, it still says I have two followers, but just shows the one I wanted...

UPDATE:
I've seen that this has been reported already and replied to by a member of Twitter staff. They said it is a bug they are working on. SIX months ago. Were they lying or is this a superbug more resistant than MRSA???

I am not recieveing any messages from twitter. However, I recieve the confirmation message when i reverify my phone, but nothing else. I try and try, and i look on the twitter website to see new updates from people i follow, and to confirm that it is turned "on" but nothing happens.

how do you install Jabber server? Got the server downloaded and the Psi downloaded but can't get server to work for Psi.
