I am trying to contact the good samaritan who set up our rss feeds as a twitterfeed (@minnpost). Thought I could direct message them through Twitter, but I'm not allow d message because they are not following me. Any ideas how I can contact? Or, if contact can not be made, can I get advice on how I can manage the account? I am the director of operations at minnpost.com. (Note: I posed this to the TwitterFeed getsatisfaction account, and they suggested it's a twitter profile thang, not TwitterFeed.) Thx!
For days now, I can't get past page 2 (or sometimes 3) in my feed -- "older" is greyed out and I can't see earlier updates from friends. What's up? Happens whether I'm accessing on the web with IE 6.0 or Firefox. Annoyed I can't see what's come in overnight!
My reply page is there, but there are no replies there. If you click the older link replies will be there, but once you've viewed a page those replies disappear. So after I've viewd page 2, it becomes an empty page. Page 3 will be there the first time I go to it, but will be gone from that point on. Where are the replies?
Update: It appears to only be happening in IE. Once I view a page of replies, the replies will disappear from that page on all following views. Happened on multiple machines in IE. Couldn't reproduce in flock.
@replies from people I'm following to people I'm not following are appearing on my profile page, but no-where in my home page, nor are they being forwarded to my IM.
Don't count long URL in 140 characters through web. For long URLs that will be shrunk anyway, I'm constantly having to go to tinyurl or other service to generate a short URL and copy and paste it. If there is a long URL that will be rewritten, the interface should know the max length of the shortened URL will be and only use that to count # of characters.
I'm trying to set up SMS from a MetroPCS phone. Some reason I keep getting a response saying that 40404 is not a valid number to text to. I've got a feeling this is a MetroPCS issue but I'm also hoping there is a way around the problem.... Anyone... Anyone?
A New Follower Request is shown but no request is actually listed. On the right hand side of my home page it says "1 New Follower request" but when I click on it, no new friend request is listed.
When I verified my phone I created a second account. My phone is now linked to my correct account, but I can't figure out how to delete the second account that was created, since I have no password for the second account. I can't delete second account with a text because my phone texts to my correct account. Very confusing.
Any incoming SMS tweet with an "@" symbol in it is blank after the "@". This happens on all U.S. Cellular phones, and I've heard it happens on other carriers as well. This was fixed on Verizon phones recently (see http://getsatisfaction.com/twitter/to...") , but customers of other carriers have been left neglected. I know it takes getting a lot people together to fix this type of issue, but when half your tweets are blank it makes Twitter almost useless.
THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR TWO WEEKS. MY OLDER BUTTON DOES NOT FUNCTION. ON THE RARE ONE TIME OCCASION DURING FIVE MINUTES OF THE DAY THAT IT DOES, I CAN'T GET PAST THE FIRST PAGE.

I'm trying to set up an account for my company, AAA. Twitter says that user name is taken, but when I search for AAA it does not come up. Is it taken or not? If not, how can I get it?
I'm getting an error in Twitterific and Twhirl that says:
"Twitter returned a "temporarily overloaded" error. This is a problem with the server that provides tweets to Twitterrific. Please contact Twitter at http://twitter.com/help if the problem persists."
Is this due to something I am doing? I post a normal amount, less than once per hour in most cases. I noticed the problem when I first started using Twhirl, about a week ago.
The system keeps on telling me I have a new follower request, but when I click it no name appears. How do I clear this? I'm not getting an error page. I'm guessing the account that requested to floow me no longer exists. No matter how many times I click on the link, the request never disappears.
