"Activity - Private beta..." Speculation
I saw this in a screenshot a while back:
"Activity - Private beta..."
I also saw that in another screenshot (from a different person) as well:
"Crap. Well, I'm probably out of the Private Beta now. The activity feature actually doesn't do much, so y'all aren't missing anything. In fact, I forgot it was there, I use it so little. The Replies tab is *much* more useful! So yeah, not much to come clean about, sorry!"
I suppose it's a different way of managing conversations? Maybe it's similar to Quotably? What do you all think?
Oooh, http://twitter.com/activity - "This feature is currently restricted to Friends of Twitter only!"

Inappropriate?Oh, I just noticed it's also in the Technology Review video of Twitter (which is great, btw. http://www.technologyreview.com/video... )
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Might be something related to the much-discussed Twitter Groups feature? (I'm just guessing).
I remember there being some chatter a while back about group-related features having been coded already, but not yet deployed... -
Inappropriate?Good point. That completely fits into it being something related to the replies feature, as quoted. Interesting...

Inappropriate?I just caught it again in a screenshot posted by @ev, so I guess it's still on the way - http://skitch.com/bradkellett/xxdh/tw...

Inappropriate?Small update: It appears that this feature never made it -- http://twitter.com/activity now returns a 404. :(
-
Inappropriate? It was the ability to see which of your own tweets had been favorited by others. I liked it, but it does seem to be gone now.
I’m bummed
