"Can't remember your password, huh?" Routine or Phish?
I keep getting an email from noreply@twitter.com with the subject "Reset your Twitter password", when I've not asked to reset my password.
Here is the copy of the email:
So is this routine, or phishing?

Hey there.
Can't remember your password, huh?
It happens to the best of us.
Please open this link in your browser:
http://twitter.com/account/confirm_pa...@example.com&token=1234567890abcefghijklmnop
This will reset your password.
You can then login and change it to something you'll remember.
Yours,
So is this routine, or phishing?

Inappropriate? If you haven't requested to reset your password, it could indeed be a phishing attempt. Although the e-mail looks as though it's from Twitter, it may actually originate from some malicious 3rd. party.
But you'll be OK if you don't click the link.
When I had to reset my password 5 months ago, the email I received from Twitter was different from yours (though also from noreply@twitter.com) - but Twitter may well have changed some things in the meantime.
It's possible that someone has been trying to discover your password by entering your Twitter name in the "Forgotten your password?" box. Fortunately, Twitter responds by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you stated in your account settings, so you (not the phisher) receive the e-mail(s).
To be on the safe side, you may wish to report the matter to http://help.twitter.com/ , including a link to this thread.

Inappropriate?I recently requested to reset my password and that is what the email looked like although it has not helped me at all.
