"Places" filter in the Advanced Twitter search malfunctioning

"Places" filter in the Advanced Twitter search appears to be malfunctioning. I created an RSS feed for a search that specified within 50 miles of Greeley, CO (USA though I didn't specify that) and am getting results for Brighton, Sussex, UK. (I should mention there is a Brighton, CO, USA within 50 miles of Greeley)
