Account impersonation / Squatter
Hi!
Somebody started a twitter account using our company name and contacted us verbally with intent to sell this account (impersonation / squatter) .
I already filed a support request on Twitter Help but I didn't hear anything yet.

Inappropriate?I am going through this as well JG. Unfortunately I'm not getting a "real" response from Twitter yet, only automated responses via their ticket system. But I will keep trying. Good luck - I hope you get a resolution quickly. And if you do - please let me know how you did, perhaps I can learn from it!!

Actually I just received a reply Monday. They ruled in my favor and are in the process of transferring the account to me. It took 6 weeks.

Inappropriate?JG - how did you report the issue? I've reported it several times via email to Twitter Support, and via the online help ticket page (after opening an alternative profile for our company). They keep "resolving" the issue and closing the ticket without actually acknowledging or doing anything. Would love any ideas on how to get their attention and make progress on a solution.
