Add flickr-like extensibility for private feeds

There are a lot of fun and interesting apps and sites that analyze a person's feed.

Problem is, the feed needs to be public. Any way of making private feeds able to use these things without switching to public? Especially after the changes to how private feeds work, I used to be able to just switch to public temporarily.
