AIM registration not working
AIM registration is not working correctly. When I try to register to add AIM (AOL Instant Messanger) to my contact (so not only can I be notified when someone makes a Tweet, but also so I can send my Tweets from my IM and AIM's IMtoSMS (since many tweets from me are not getting to Twitter and some from my friends are not getting to me). So I wanted to have another way to get and send tweets.
This is what happens: I add the screenname on the twitter "Phone and IM" section, choose "AIM" and choose "save". it says I have to IM the twitterbot with a special code, I open up a chat window with the twitterbot and send the special code and nothing happens.

Inappropriate?We're currently working out some issues with our AIM bot, which is sporadically failing. We're working with AOL to resolve the problem, and hope to have a fix in place within the week.

Inappropriate?It's good to hear that it should be fixed, I will be using twitter during a big event next week. Is there an expected time/date as to when the SMS issues will be fixed? Many SMS Messages are not always arriving at my phone and many messages I try to send (like to update what I'm doing), are not being received by twitter for some reason when previously there used to be no issues.

Inappropriate?After I gave up last night (and went to sleep), and one more attempt to activate it this morning, it worked. Go figure. Maybe doing it in the daylight helps. ;-)
