Am I banned from twitter search?
Hello, I have recently noticed that none of my updates appear in twitter search (search.twitter.com) - even if I type in the exact update name or even my own name... Like if I had been banned from twitter search - but my account is up and running with no problems, no warnings, nothing like that - I have a blog that auto-syndicates content and then auto-twits it to my twitter page with a plugin called tweetable - that makes as much 100-200 updates per day with over 16k overall updates in my twitter now - many users used to find my updates in the twitter search and follow me from there... I clearly state in my twitter that all are syndicated posts - and I give credit tooriginal sources, and I have more and more people following me liking my updates - I read twitters terms and restrictions etc... and am trying to not to break any, I even sent twitter support a request in the help section like a month ago about my account - that they take a look at it and tell me if they think it still violates anything since I wanted to go by the rules and eliminate any violation at an early stage - yet there was no reply whatsoever and the request is still open - and all of a sudden around 2-3 weeks ago my updates disappeared from the twitter search as I said earlier, without any warning and my account is ok, no suspension warnings, nothing. What is going on? - Any thoughts on that?

Inappropriate?Excessive amounts of links can cause your account to be removed from Twitter Search. I've removed the restriction, but you may end up restricted again if you continually post links. Please read our terms of service page at http://help.twitter.com/forums/26257/...

John - I just sent you a tweet - but I am totally having the same problem. Can you help me @themombuzz ? -
I post news links. It seems wrong to ban people from Twitter Search that are just keeping people informed of news. Can you fix this? -
Inappropriate?Hi, I am having same issue. We are auto syndicate content to twitter as these info are traffic updates information generated from our site. People find them useful to follow us specially in the city of Jakarta for notoriously traffic jam. We had some glitch in our system few weeks ago that cause a flock of tweet generated within about same time, but we fixed them immediately and that only happened once. After that i notice that our posting are not showing up on search...
our account is twitter.com/lewatmana
Please help.
Thank you,
Hendry -
Inappropriate?I've been banned from the search too.
Think it's because I've been following people on mass and then unfollowing them if they don't follow back.
Or it could be that I post the same link every morning: "Things to do in Coventry today: URL". (content changes every day)
Both things are viewed as the tactics of a spammer by Twitter.
But it does seem a bit unfair when every other search result is a series of random words followed by a link to a porn site.
All I was doing was trying to get people to look at a city guide - ie something that might be useful for more than two minutes.
Mind you, you can't really complain about a free service :( #twitterfail)
