Any plans to change Twitter UK SMS number to an actual UK number?
Don't worry, I've read the many (many, many) questions about why UK users texting to Twitter are charged international rates and I've solved that problem by updating via mobile internet on my phone only when I really have to. So you won't have me complaining. :)
What I would like to know though is, are there any plans to change the UK SMS number that will charge normal text rates?

Inappropriate?Surely the UK number is a UK number? (+44 7624 801423)
Vodafone (UK) only charges me a standard rate to SMS messages to twitter via that number (from my UK phone in the UK) :-)

Inappropriate?+447624801423 is not a UK number: it's on the Isle of Man (which shares its +44... international code with the UK).
It's good to know that Vodafone UK is so generous: so far I was only aware of certain O2 UK tariffs. Many UK tariffs charge SMS to the Isle of Man at high international rates.

07624801423 - Manx Mobile - £0.213 + VAT
Quite disappointed to find myself being charged for what Twitter advertises as a UK number (and therefore included in my allowance).
