As of teatime yesterday (6pm GMT) I have not received any SMS notifications for tweets by people I'm following (yet again), and I'm not the only one.
This is the third or fourth time in the last month that Twitter has stopped sending SMS notifications to me, despite all my settings being correct. And I know that others I'm following are having the same problem today.

Inappropriate?I had this problem in the UK for over a week. I tried getting friends to "off" me then "follow" me again and that sometimes worked. Others just turned on again of there own accord. Some others still don't work (I don't get notifications by sms) -
Inappropriate?I've only received 12 SMS, so it isn't like I've reached the limit. I receive my notifications from the UK number, and the last one was received 2319 GMT on 20th Feb. -
Inappropriate?Happens to me too, I've had to delete my phone number from the settings, and add it again. It's a text to the UK each time for me, but I don't care about the cost, rather that I don't know when it's stopped working. Which is a big deal when I rely on direct messaging.
