Auto refresh of Twitter.com
I would like my Twitter page to automatically refresh. I know I can do this through Safari, but I don't want all my pages to refresh, just Twitter. Is that possible? It is very annoying to have to manually refresh my page all day long. I am using Twitterrific, which does auto refresh, but I don't like it covering up my screen all day long. HELP!! I love Twitter but it needs to auto refresh.

Inappropriate?Hello. Our Twitter home pages used to automatically refresh when Twitter was new. But I think they decided to disable that because it was affecting the system's performance.
Given the system stability problems that we've been having this past month, I think it's unlikely the auto-refresh will be brought back anytime soon.
I wish I could give you a more direct and helpful solution. The only idea that comes to mind, unfortunately is this -- there's a long list of Twitter third party apps on the Twitter Fan Wiki. It's possible that one of them will have auto-refresh without covering up your screen. -
