Automatic OAuth redirect once an application is authorized
It'd be great if the OAuth redirect happened automatically for applications that have already be allowed. This would let web-based apps use Twitter as their login method.
This would work by first getting their access token, and then using the API to run verify_credentials to find out who they are. Once a user has authorized a site, they can log into that site very easily: click a button on the site, be taken to Twitter's OAuth page, and then redirected straight back to the site.
Currently, Twitter asks the user to accept or reject the request every time this happens. It's really close to working already.
Is there another way of achieving a one-click login/register process?

Inappropriate?I wish these conversations were happening within the OAuth community. It's not just Twitter that needs to solve this problem.
I’m slightly troubled

Inappropriate? There is a thread about this at the Twitter Development Google Group:

And I've written some Rails code that allows registration / login with Twitter OAuth:

Inappropriate? We're just about to launch this on http://www.tweetizen.com/ - check back tomorrow morning. I think you may like our solution.

Have you launched this yet? I can still only see Basic Auth. -
