Background image appears to be covered in very dark filter!
When I upload an image for my background, it loads and tiles but appears much darker than the actual image. Help!

Inappropriate?I just tried uploading a background image to my account (to see if I can replicate the problem), but it uploaded fine (with image tiled).
Do you suppose there's a chance the image upload was interrupted in your case?
I’m puzzled but hopeful.

Inappropriate?maybe your image has an embeded color profile? most browsers (e.g. IE) ignore color profiles and they’ll assume they’re in the sRGB color space. try converting your images to this color profile.
